The Titelberg is one of the most important archaeological sites in Luxembourg and a key witness to the region’s rich history. Through years of archaeological research, conservation, and public outreach, the Institut National de Recherches Archéologiques and its regional branch, the Maison régionale d’archéologie de Titelberg, have brought the site’s story to life through publications, guided tours, lectures, and exhibitions.
Yet, there is often an invisible barrier separating us from the people who once lived here—the glass display case that keeps archaeological objects just out of reach.
For this year’s Journées du Patrimoine, we invite you to step beyond that barrier and experience the past in a unique and tangible way. Participants will have the rare opportunity to come face-to-face with authentic archaeological objects from the Titelberg collections and discover the stories they hold.
